James A. Lang
Jim Lang, President of Lang Marketing, is a Phi
Beta Kappa member with more than 20 years experience in the vehicle
products industry. He has gained wide recognition for his nationwide
consumer, automotive, heavy duty truck, and distribution studies
of the vehicle aftermarket.
Appointed as an industry representative to the first U.S. automotive
trade mission to Japan, he has traveled extensively in Europe studying
the vehicle industry. He has also worked with the Wall Street community,
providing information on the aftermarket to financial analysts.
Jim has designed, conducted, and authored more than 500 reports
on the vehicle products industry in general and the car and light
truck aftermarket in particular. He is a recognized expert on the
vehicle products industry, and his company has become known as America’s
leading source of aftermarket information and analysis.
